[font=Arial][size=10pt]Resource (s) will be responsible for supportingOracle or SQL based applications within the GM&Q environment.Responsibilities include escalation from Application DBAs, as well assupporting system database issues for vital and critical applications.Resource(s)) will be responsible for working with team to set common standardsand improvements, including architectural design for new deployments andupgrades. Responsibility of responding to tickets while primary on escalationrotation. Ability to troubleshoot in high pressure situations. Needs to beconsidered an 'expert'.[/size][/font]

[list][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors.[/size][/font][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]1-3[/size][/font][font=Arial][size=10pt] yrs experience with Oracle 9i on both Unix and Windows environment (HP-UX is preferred)[/size][/font][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]Unix scripting (preferable hp-unix) [/size][/font][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]Working experience of Oracle DBA including Installation/Backup/Performance tuning/Upgrade/Data Guard[/size][/font][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]Working experience of PL-SQL/SQL[/size][/font][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]OCP certification is a plus[/size][/font][size=12pt][/size][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]Self-motivated, good problem solving, good inter-personal communication skills[/size][/font][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]Strong English & Chinese communication skills (Spoken, written).[/size][/font][*][font=Arial][size=10pt]Experienced with writing technical documentation[/size][/font][/list]
